Herxheimer Heimatmuseum

The museum depicts the historical lifestyle and work of people in Herxheim and the region. The “Lebenswelt” section not only illuminates social, cultural, political and religious aspects of life, but also family and gender-specific criteria in days gone by. The “Arbeitswelt” section covers work and places an emphasis on the topics of handicrafts, agricultural and domestic work. A museum highlight: the sensational cache of Stone Age linear pottery.
